The Unearth Story

Adventure.
For some, it’s a word. For me, it’s my purpose.
It is possibility, potential, resilience, growth and curiosity. It’s a mindset.
I believe that our career can be our life’s greatest adventure.
And, although I’ve traveled to all 7 continents and been on some wild adventures, that’s certainly been true for me.
I am an engineer who reimagined herself as a career transition coach, leadership coach and organization development consultant. Making that career change was scary and, at times, overwhelming, but you know what was even scarier? Continuing to work in a career that left me dreaming of “something better” – the life I was meant to live.
Reimagining myself in this new career was not just a thought exercise. It took hard work, planning, education, growth and a whole lot of humility. But, I am finally living my purpose and that is worth everything.
What would be different if you thought of your career as an adventure?
